Single DTF Transfers vs. Gang Sheets

Single-image DTF transfers and DTF gang sheets use the same garment-decoration process, but they organize the order differently. The better choice depends on how many designs you have, how many finished sizes you need, and whether you want to arrange the artwork yourself.

Choose single-image DTF transfers when

  • You have one design.
  • You know its finished width and height.
  • You want multiple copies of that design.
  • You prefer to order by the individual image size and quantity.

With our single-image DTF transfer option, you upload one file, choose its finished print dimensions and quantity, and review the displayed total. The design must fit within our 22.25-inch-wide DTF media.

Choose a DTF gang sheet when

  • You have several different designs.
  • You need a mixture of left-chest, full-front, sleeve, or label sizes.
  • You want to repeat and arrange designs across a 22-inch-wide sheet.
  • You want to use the open spaces around larger graphics for smaller artwork.

Our DTF gang sheets are 22 inches wide and available from 1–20 linear feet. One linear foot is 22 × 12 inches. Select a length, arrange the designs, and review the complete sheet price before checkout.

A simple example

Suppose a clothing brand needs one large back design, one medium front design, and several small neck labels. A gang sheet lets the brand place those different graphics together. If the same brand needs 25 identical left-chest logos and no other artwork, ordering a single-image transfer by size and quantity may be more straightforward.

Artwork requirements are the same

Both ordering methods accept PNG, SVG, and PDF files with transparent backgrounds. Raster files should be 300 DPI at the final print size, and DTF artwork should be submitted unmirrored.

Check the true final dimensions before ordering. A file that looks sharp while small may show pixelation when enlarged. Background-removal tools are useful conveniences, but clean print-ready artwork gives the most predictable edges and detail.

Pricing differences

Gang-sheet pricing is based on the selected 22-inch-wide sheet length. Single-image pricing depends on the selected finished dimensions and quantity. In both cases, the ordering tool displays the applicable total before payment. This makes the comparison clearer than relying on an isolated price without a stated size or unit.

Production timing is the same

We print and ship Monday–Friday after the order is placed and paid for. Paid orders received by 3 p.m. Eastern Time are eligible for same-day shipping. Paid local-pickup orders received by 5 p.m. Eastern Time are eligible for same-day printing. Shipping transit time is separate, and expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.
