Custom birthday DTF transfers can turn original party artwork into coordinated shirts for children, adults, families, event staff, and small-business clients. Birthday shirts for individuals and groups
A single-image transfer works well for one birthday shirt or a repeated party logo. A 22-inch gang sheet is useful when the project includes several family roles, names, youth and adult sizes, front-and-back placements, or matching designs for multiple celebrations. Sheets are ordered by the foot, allowing you to arrange multiple print-ready elements on a clearly defined width and length.
Birthday artwork often includes names, dates, ages, photographs, decorative lettering, and detailed theme elements. Review every detail before ordering. Raster images should be sharp at the final print dimensions, and photographs should not be enlarged beyond their usable resolution. Remove backgrounds cleanly and inspect light-colored edges that might be difficult to see on screen.
Size each transfer for its garment
Measure the available print area on toddler, youth, adult, fitted, and oversized garments separately. Keep important artwork away from seams, collars, and pockets. If the group will wear different shirt colors, verify that the design remains visible on each one. Customers must have permission to reproduce characters, television or movie artwork, sports logos, brands, and purchased graphics used in a birthday design.
How to order your custom DTF transfers
Choose single-image DTF transfers when you need individual logos or designs sized for a specific placement. Choose the DTF gang-sheet builder when you want to arrange several designs, names, numbers, or sizes on one sheet. Gang sheets use 22-inch-wide media and can be ordered by the foot, making them useful for coordinated apparel runs and repeat production.
Submit print-ready PNG, SVG, or PDF artwork with a transparent background. For raster artwork, 300 DPI at the final print size is recommended. Upload artwork unmirrored. Background-removal tools can help with simple files, but they are not a replacement for clean artwork. Review spelling, colors, dimensions, and quantities before ordering.
Pressing and care
Press DTF transfers at 300°F for 3–5 seconds using firm pressure. If firm pressure is not available, press for 8–10 seconds. Peel immediately after the first press in one smooth motion, then press a second time using the same temperature, time, and pressure. A textured fiberglass finishing sheet is preferred; Teflon, parchment paper, or clean jersey T-shirt material can also be used as a cover. Finished garments can be washed without a waiting period and tumble dried. Do not bleach, and avoid ironing directly over the design on the hottest setting.
