Custom Sports DTF Transfers
Custom sports DTF transfers make it easier to produce coordinated shirts, hoodies, warm-ups, fan apparel, tournament merchandise, and team-support gear without limiting your design to a single color. Upload your own team-approved artwork, player names, numbers, sponsor marks, mascot graphics, or event designs and order the sizes you need for each garment location.
DTF transfers for teams, leagues, and fans
This custom ordering option works for youth leagues, travel teams, school clubs, recreation departments, gyms, coaches, booster groups, and independent apparel decorators. A single-image transfer is practical for one standard chest or back design. A gang sheet is often more efficient when a job includes several player numbers, left-chest logos, sleeve marks, or youth and adult design sizes.
Measure the intended print area on the actual garment rather than assuming one size fits every shirt. Youth jerseys, adult tees, hoodies, and performance garments can have very different usable areas. Keep names and numbers proportional, leave room around seams and pockets, and confirm that you have permission to reproduce team logos, league marks, mascots, and sponsor artwork.
Useful planning for sports apparel orders
Group artwork by final size before building a gang sheet. Label files clearly, confirm rosters before submitting, and include replacement names or numbers when deadlines are tight. DTF works especially well for full-color artwork, gradients, small quantities, and mixed-size runs. It can also help local apparel businesses respond quickly when a team adds a player or needs last-minute fan shirts.
How to order your custom DTF transfers
Choose single-image DTF transfers when you need individual logos or designs sized for a specific placement. Choose the DTF gang-sheet builder when you want to arrange several designs, names, numbers, or sizes on one sheet. Gang sheets use 22-inch-wide media and can be ordered by the foot, making them useful for coordinated apparel runs and repeat production.
Submit print-ready PNG, SVG, or PDF artwork with a transparent background. For raster artwork, 300 DPI at the final print size is recommended. Upload artwork unmirrored. Background-removal tools can help with simple files, but they are not a replacement for clean artwork. Review spelling, colors, dimensions, and quantities before ordering.
Pressing and care
Press DTF transfers at 300°F for 3–5 seconds using firm pressure. If firm pressure is not available, press for 8–10 seconds. Peel immediately after the first press in one smooth motion, then press a second time using the same temperature, time, and pressure. A textured fiberglass finishing sheet is preferred; Teflon, parchment paper, or clean jersey T-shirt material can also be used as a cover. Finished garments can be washed without a waiting period and tumble dried. Do not bleach, and avoid ironing directly over the design on the hottest setting.
